Pay Advice
- Select Bankruptcy > Other
- Enter Case Number (e.g. xx-xxxxx). Click Next.
- Select Pay Advice from the event list. Click Next.
- Click Next to skip the Joint Filing Screen.
- Select the Party filer. Click Next.
- The Attorney/Party Association screen may appear. If your party selection was correct, check the box to create an association.
Application to Pay Filing Fee in Installment
An initial payment of AT LEAST $75.00 must paid.
Creditor Matrix
Converting Creditor Matrix to a .txt File & Uploading the Creditor Matrix onto CM/ECF

Purpose:
In order for a creditor matrix to be successfully uploaded, it must be in a .txt file format.
General Matrix Format:
Open a Bankruptcy Case - WITH Deficiencies
- Select Bankruptcy.
- Select Open Voluntary Bankruptcy Case:
- Select appropriate chapter from the drop down box.
- Select “y” or “n” for Joint Petition.
- Select “y” for no deficiencies.
- Click Next.
- Search for a Debtor screen:
- Enter Social Security Number/Tax Identification number to search for the debtor's name in the ECF database and click Search.
- Enter Social Security Number/Tax Identification number to search for the debtor's name in the ECF database and click Search.
Open a Bankruptcy Case - No Deficiencies
- Select Bankruptcy.
- Select Open Voluntary Bankruptcy Case:
- Select appropriate chapter from the drop down box.
- Select “y” or “n” for Joint Petition.
- Select “n” for no deficiencies.
- Click Next.
- Search for a Debtor screen:
- Enter Social Security Number/Tax Identification number to search for the debtor's name in the ECF database and click Search.

Docketing Standards For Evidence
The Docketing Standards For Evidence can be found in the Court's Local Rules at Appendix "P".
The following standards are established to make it easier to offer evidence and to provide docket consistency.
Non-Registered ECF Filer
This error occurs when a non-registered CM/ECF attorney signs a document and then files the document on CM/ECF with another attorney’s CM/ECF login and password.
PDF Filed in Wrong Case
This error occurs when the PDF document is filed in the wrong bankruptcy case.
When this error occurs, a Case Administrator of the Bankruptcy Court will issue a Deficiency Notice stating that, " The PDF is filed in the incorrect case. The document in this case is stricken and will need to be filed in the correct case."
SOLUTIONS:
Make sure that after you have entered the case number into CM/ECF, that you check the case name and number on the following screen to make sure that you are filing your document in the correct case.
