Summons Service Executed/Unexecuted

  1. Select Adversary > Complaint & Summons
  2. Enter Adversary Case Number (e.g. xx-xxxxx).  Click Next.
  3. Event screen
    • Select Summons Service Executed (if the defendant was successfully served the summons and complaint).
    • Select Summons Service Unexecuted (if the defendant could not be found to serve and service was not accomplished).
    • Click Next.

Answer to Complaint

  1. Select Adversary > Answers.
  2. Select Complaint, 3rd, cross, counter.
  3. Enter Adversary Case Number (e.g. xx-xxxxx).  Click Next.
  4. Select the defendant(s) for whom the answer is being filed.  Click Next.
    • The Attorney/Party Association screen may appear.  If your party selection was correct, check the box to create an association.
  5. Select the complaint that the answer(s) refers to. Click Next.

Amended Adversary Complaint

  1. Select Adversary > Complaint & Summons
  2. Enter Case Number (e.g. xx-xxxxx).  Click Next.
  3. Select Amended Complaint from the event list.  Click Next.
  4. Select the Party filer.  Click Next.
    • If the party is not listed, click on Add/Create New Party.
    • The Attorney/Party Association screen may appear.  If your party selection was correct, check the box to create an association.

Adversary Complaint

  1. Select Adversary > Open an AP Case.
  2. Leave Complaint box to "y" and click Next.
  3. Read the statement "When adding the plaintiff(s), ensure to click the Add additional attorney button and add yourself as attorney for the plaintiff(s). Click Next.
  4. Search for a Plaintiff Party screen:
