Changing the Frequency of Receiving Electronic Notices
E-filers receive electronic notices via their email on all the cases they are involved with when any entries are entered on the case docket.
There are two options available to select how often you receive your electronic notices:
Receiving Electronic Notices on Additional Cases
CM/ECF offers registrants the option to add case numbers to their CM/ECF account in order to receive email notifications on the activity in a case or cases which they are not a party to.
Changing your Primary E-mail Address
E-mail information screen
Users must change their primary e-mail address via the PACER Service Center (PSC), (which will cause an update transaction to be sent to all the courts in which the user is registered); the “Primary e-mail address” field is disabled.
Changing your Personal Information
Users must change their name and address data via the PACER Service Center (PSC); these fields are disabled on the add/edit screen.
The screen shown below is found by clicking on Utilities > Maintain Your ECF Account. The screen is greyed out, however there is a link in the upper right hand corner that says Edit my name and address information. Clicking that link will redirect you to PACER.
Maintain User Account
PACER & NextGen CM/ECF
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court – District of Nebraska is using NextGen CM/ECF. Logging into CM/ECF has changed. Filers must upgrade existing PACER accounts and use the upgraded accounts to log into NextGen CM/ECF.

NextGen CM/ECF Filing Agents
A "Filing Agent" is a user that can file on behalf of attorneys or trustees. All filing agents must have their own PACER account and may be linked to multiple attorneys and trustees. The filing agent will have the same access and permissions as the attorney or trustee. However, when the filing agent uses their login and password, the attorneys' or trustees' name will only appear in the docket text.
