Changing your Primary E-mail Address

E-mail information screen

Users must change their primary e-mail address via the PACER Service Center (PSC), (which will cause an update transaction to be sent to all the courts in which the user is registered); the “Primary e-mail address” field is disabled.

The screen shown below is found by clicking on Utilities > Maintain Your ECF Account > Email Information. You are not able to change your primary e-mail address on this screen, however, there is a link in the upper right hand corner that says Edit my primary e-mail address.  Clicking that link will redirect you to PACER.

Procedures to Change your Primary E-mail Address through PACER:

  • Go to PACER:  https://pacer.uscourts.gov
  • Click on My Account & Billing > Manage My Account Login
  • Click on Log in to Manage My Account
  • Enter Username and Password and Click Login
  • Click on the Maintenance Tab
  • Click on Update E-Filer Email Noticing and Frequency
  • Apply Updates to Selected Courts will appear, ensure to check the box for the Nebraska Bankruptcy Court that says "Click to apply changes to this court"
  • Make the necessary changes
  • Click Submit
  • Your changes will be submitted to the Nebraska Bankruptcy Court for approval
