Debtor moved to reopen case to add 2 unsecured creditors. One creditor had timely notice of bankruptcy petition, so her debt was discharged. Amending the schedules was unnecessary as to 2d creditor, as this was no-asset case & the cred. wasn't prejudiced

District court reversed the bankruptcy court's dismissal on the basis of eligibility for Chapter 13 relief. Disputed debts are included in the § 109(e) calculation, but a debt subject to set-off in an amount acknowledged by both parties isn't disputed

Debtors' request to reaffirm a $7,600 debt secured by a sailboat and trailer was denied. The court found that a monthly payment of $326.76 to the bank from debtors' monthly income of $800 would constitute a hardship & would not be in their best interest

District court reversed the bankruptcy court regarding an alleged preference. The district court said debtors' pay-off of a debt shortly before bankruptcy was indeed a preference because the creditor – essentially unsecured – received an advantage.
