Fees

Effective December 1, 2016, several miscellaneous US Bankruptcy Court fees will increase to adjust for inflation.  A summary of the applicable fee updates can be found on the court's website at www.neb.uscourts.gov on the main page under News & Announcements - Misc Fee Schedule changes effective 12-1-16.

Forms

A few Official forms were modified slightly (i.e., 420A and 420B - Motion to/Objection to and 410S2 - Notice of Postpetition Mortgage fees, Expenses and Charges, ).  See the courts website at www.neb.uscourts.gov - Forms - National Forms.  This link will take you to the uscourts.gov site for access to the latest Official Forms.

Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure amendments

Amendments to the foregoing Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure will take effect on Dec. 1, 2016: FRBP 1010, 1011, 2002, 3002.1, 7008, 7012, 7016, 9006, 9027 and 9033, and new Rule 1012.  No local court processes will change in response to the rule changes.
